Leonardo Peret, criminal lawyer, is a partner at Peret e Barros
Sociedade de Advogados. He holds a Master’s degree in Criminal
Procedure Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São
Paulo (PUC-SP), is a specialist in Economic and European
Criminal Law from the University of Coimbra (Portugal), and is a
member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Brazilian Bar
Association, São Paulo Section (OAB-SP), as well as the Criminal
Committee of the Center for Law Firm Studies (CESA).
He has been a guest lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate
courses at the Law School of São Bernardo do Campo and at the
Law School of Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado.
Author of the book “(Re)pensando a Busca e Apreensão no Processo
Penal: uma análise constitucional de seus limites” and of
articles related to Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure. He is
also a co-author of the book “Liberdade e Medidas Cautelares
Pessoais Diversas da Prisão”.
